Kinda CrapSeptember 29, 2007 I have used this product for a few weeks now and it already is starting to creep out of the cup holder and fall out periodically. The principle it is using to stay in the cup holder is sound, the problem is that they are using cheap plastic screw shafts with a plastic thumb wheel where they should just use metal parts.br /br /Still that said, it is the best thing I have found so far. It is better than the method that screws into the cigarette lighter by the same company. That worked for awhile but the torque on the lighter housing eventually broke it loose and left it spinning in the dash. This meant the stand would flip when every I hit a curve.br /br /There needs to be better products out there for this.br /br /Brian

I have purchased several other Arkon items and I have been pleased. This cup holder mounting kit works as promised but it is a little flimsey. The quality is what you expect for the price so I wasn't dissapointed. I have used this every day for the last 3 months and it still holds my Cingular 8125 securely.

This product is the perfect solution for anyone who needs a place to rest their iPod, PDA or cell phone in the car/truck. It fits very tightly in my cupholder (I have a '04 Dodge Intrepid) and is the exact size needed to hold my Video iPod. br /br /No complaints from me. br /br /UPDATE: I have since purchased a new car ('08 Toyota Prius) and STILL use this mount to hold my iPod. It fits just as tightly in the flip down cupholder on the armrest in the Prius as it did in the Intrepid.br /br /By the way, not once has it fallen out of my cupholder in either car.
