Patton Jones had grown up living with Chase, Slade, and Devin Davis. They were not related by blood, but when the elder Davis had taken her fathers life in an argument, he saw to it that she was raised in their household. She had always felt loved, and protected, but for as long as she could remember she had felt an all-consuming love for all three of them. Her ruse of attending neither college nor her move to Atlanta had dimmed those feelings. She knew that they loved her, but they were avoiding the pull between them all. br /br /The brothers make no apologies for the way they live their lives. They indulge in their darker sexual needs, and knew Patton could not handle the type of life they had to offer her. She was too independent and head strong to allow someone the control they would demand from her. They were sure she deserved better in her life. When Patton made her intentions clear to them what she wanted, Chase and his brothers did something foreign to them, they ran scared. She was determined to have them, and nothing would deter her from this mission.br /br /This is a very entertaining read! Scorching hot, but with some very fun antics from Patton. She is stubborn and wants to have her way always. Nothing is off limits for her. She does nothing half way, and thinks with her heart instead of her head landing her in trouble more times than not. Patton definitely has her hands full with the strong very dominant Chase, Slade, and Devin. A recommended read!!

Patton Jones is a woman on a mission and it's going to take more than a little `brotherly' advice and anger to dissuade her from the course she's set for herself. Of course she hadn't counted on the men she's in love with discovering her little deception and what about those pictures of her in risque clothing gracing the pages of a catalog? Oh there will be a lot of explaining to do. Fortunately, Patton is no meek little woman and makes no apologies for going after whatever her heart desires.br /br /br /Chase, Slade, and Devin Davis have gone out of their way to deny their feelings for Patton. She was raised alongside them and after their mother's death they were entrusted with her care. They've got this idea that she could never handle the three of them or their more adventurous needs. The brothers are all very different but they are united in their love and need to protect Patton. They just didn't count on Patton's bullheaded determination to weasel her way around every attempt they make at pushing her away.br /br /br /Patton's been working and living in Atlanta - where she's supposed to be attending college. Instead she's built her own business from the ground up but she never clued in any of the Davis brothers to this little fact. Needless to say, they're furious especially once they see photographs of her on display throughout her catalog in risqueposes and clothing. Chase and Patton go head to head over her deception but he practically blows a gasket when he learns that she's bought a motorcycle. Punishing her only turns him on and he's convinced that Patton could never handle the sort of sexual needs the brothers possess. br /br /br /Patton has no illusions about what sort of sexual relationship being involved with Chase, Slade and Devin would involve. She's known about their kinky secrets for many years and isn't afraid of the dominating aspect of their personalities - in fact she's envious of the women who have been the subject of their desires and/or teachings. Yes, Patton already knows about their secret side business and she's determined to be the next and last woman they train. There's just the little problem of getting Chase, Slade and Devin to accept her as a lover and not the innocent little girl they imagine her to be. Of course if they don't come around soon then she'll have to get creative and devise a plan that is sure to rouse their he-man tendencies - so much plotting just to prove that she's more than capable of handling the men she loves!br /br /Oh wow! I simply wasn't able to put this book down once I started reading. Patton is such a spunky little obstinate fireball that I couldn't wait to found out what she'd do and whom she'd involve in her schemes. Chase, Slade and Devin obviously love her but they feel a need to protect her from their lifestyle and are clueless as to how to handle her seductive maneuvering. PATTON'S WAY roused all sorts of emotions in me - everything from tears to laughter and even a little envy . . . ok, a lot of envy. I'm now anxiously awaiting upcoming books in this series - especially HAILEY'S GAME which will have Patton's friend, Hailey, who is the subject of Cole and Kyle's desire. This is the story of a woman who is in love with the three very overprotective men who helped raise her. They are too scared to unleash their hard-lovin ways on her because they see her as too innocent. She is definitely not what they thought she was so she proceeds to prove that to them and they all must realize how much they need to compromise to make their group-relationship work.br /br /I'll preface this by saying this is an incredibly scorching hot erotic love story. Yes, you can definitely feel the love between all these characters through the entire story. HOWEVER, it was a truly ANGST-filled and painful journey the whole way through. It just seemed like there was conflict at absolutely every turn. I cringed at all the lengths Patton had to go to to manipulate and trap her men in to doing what she wanted, and even then still she got caught and got punished at every turn because she didn't ever quite think her plans through. I won't say she was a weak heroine. She definitely made her opinions known and she was stubborn. But it just never seemed she got ahead with these men. I know deep down they absolutely loved and adored her but she was constantly getting caught in her scheming and it never seemed like she was making any headway. I hated that it seemed they always had the upper hand over her. I suppose it's just that my female pride personally couldn't stand that. It all ends up okay in the end but it just didn't seem like things ever went smoothly. Everything was a constant fight and a battle of wills. That part was very difficult to take through such a long story. I felt like I had to take a huge breath of relief in the end!!br /br /I love Jenny Penn's stories. If you love hot domineering sexy stories, then you will definitely love that element of this story (super long steamy scenes). But this one was personally just a little tough for me to handle. No smooth sailing in this story. The gloves were on the entire time. Ouch!!
