 Works Like It Is Suppose To November 18, 2008
Bought this to go along with my JayBird wireless headphones for when i am working out at the gym. I turn my headphones on, then turn the MP3 adapter on and the two items sync up by themselves and I go on with my workout with no wires to get in my way. I also use it at work, plugging the adapter into the headphone out on my computer. I can walk any place at work and still hear my music. Works great!!!!

I purchased the JV-BA100M MP3 adapter and JB-200 bluetooth headphones. I decided to get the MP3 adapter because I thought it would give me the most options for playback on different devices. My luck so far with the pair is not so good. The MP3 adapter and headphones seemed to charge with the included charger fine. Pairing and connecting the set was also easy and worked the first time.br /br /The problem started when I actually went to use the system. The audio link between the two seemed to skip or miss parts of the music fairly often, unless the two were very close to each other. I do not have an arm band for my MP3 player, so I had to keep the MP3 player and adapter in my pocket. I do not think both the MP3 adapter and headphones will work reliably much farther than a few feet from each other. As soon as the distance goes beyond about three feet I started noticing the skipping. br /br /The headphone jack coming out of the adapter is also tricky to make work with lots of players. Many players or headphone jacks do not provide enough clearance for the two inch adapter. I am not sure how the design could be better, but it is just not optimal.br /br /Unfortunately after a few weeks this adapter stopped turning on, so I had to RMA it with Jaybird.

I was so excited to receive this adapter and the price was a bargain. I received it on time and when I plugged it in; nothing happened. I took a moment and read the instruction booklet and it kept referring to a charger that didn't come with the adapter and isn't available for sale on Amazon.com. I did find it at the company's website and it isn't very expensive; it would've been nice to know that I needed it AND if Amazon.com carried it.
