Wires wear out after ~ 9 months January 1, 2009 I purchased these headphones for the specific purpose of running, but soon used them everyday while working to work. It took a while to get the earpiece to fit to the point that they did not work themselves out of the ear while running, but after about 3 or 4 runs, i was able to get them adjusted to the point where they didn't budge. br /br /Other than getting the fit correct, the controls on the piece also take a little training to use correctly. My primary complaint is that after using them almost daily for about 9 months, the wires on mine cracked in two places - at the top of the ear arch, and at the base of the unit (where the wire enters the earpiece on the bottom). A bit ironic that wire fatigue is the the only complaint I have for wireless headphones. (Wire fatigue is not covered by Jaybird's warranty).br /br /These are probably still the best product overall out there for wireless running, etc, so I will probably purchase another pair -- but will do so reluctantly, as I am not sure that they will last as long as I believe a $120 pair should last. br /br /I will follow up if I do purchase a second pair - and adjust the product score accordingly (in about 9 months - year).
Jaybird JB-200-01 Bluetooth Stereo Headphones December 26, 2008 Excellent function. Good range/audio. Easy to use controls. Comfortable to wear. Volume is a little low in the car with ambient noise. Rubber on ear loops cracked which led to decreased stability/clippage. I have to return them, but it's gonna be hard to be without them for 2 weeks. Highly Recommended.
Sweatproof is the key.... December 17, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is an awesome product IF you require SWEAT PROOF Bluetooth stereo. br /br /-Small form factor enables more activities br /-Tiny rubberized buttons keep moisture outbr /-Good sound quality br /br /If you don't need sweat proof Bluetooth - DO NOT buy this unit.br /br /You'll be disappointed b/c: br /- it has small/tiny buttons br /- the sound isn't as rich as other on ear Bluetoothbr /- it always takes a few minutes just to put it on adjust it to my earbr /br /I hope this helps....br /
Average Sound at Expensive Price December 3, 2008 I purchased these headphones hoping to have one set to use while working and also for working out and running. Sadly, as stated in other reviews, the sound is so poor, they or OK for running, but nowhere near good enough for actually listening and enjoying good music. At $130, the sound should be much better. Recently, I bought the Jabra BT3030 and think it's awesome.br /Also sporadically, it pairs as a mono headset, then after turning off/on will finally pair as a stereo headset. Add that nuisance to how badly they fit on your ear, and you see why I give this headset a 3 out of 5 rating.
Great for Active Lifestyle December 1, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought these bluetooth headphones because they were highly recommended and because I wanted to listen to music from my Blackberry Pearl when I ran and during hikes. The ear pieces are a bit challenging to put in and don't fit as snugly as I would like for activities. I modified the ear buds with Jabra Ear Gels to get a better fit. Rotating your neck side to side and stretching your neck will make the headset fall out.br /Bluetooth synchronization was very easy.br /The sound is excellent. I like the fact that you can skip to the next track and control the volume with the headset. The only complaint is that the buttons are very small and you have to push them down very hard to get them to work.br /The incoming call function works great and you can easily go from listening to music to speaking on the phone. You only get audio in your left ear when using it as a bluetooth phone.br /The wrap around wiring could be a little longer to allow for more head movement.br /Battery life seems to be around 2 to 3 hours.br /Overall, I think this is the best bluetooth stereo headset available. If the fit in the ear, the length of the wires behind the head and the buttons were easier to push and there were stereo sound while using as a phone, it would be even better.
